about

Recorded live at CBGB, Saturday, July 5, 1997.

Based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, The Confessors recorded three EPs between 1995 and 2000, and played other Northeast venues including The Russian Lady, Toad's Place, The Bay State, The Tune Inn, and T. T. the Bear's. Their song "Radar Girl" was also featured on "Daddy's Presents the Best of Rhode Island and Connecticut," a CD compilation of other great New England indie bands released by Daddy's Junky Music in 1996.

The Confessors are three friends and eternal brothers from another mother:

Andy Cayon: drums
Tris Carpenter: bass and vocals
Brian Cremins: guitar and vocals

Thanks to extended Confessors family Larry Decareau and Erick Carpenter, who served as roadies and crew on the drive from Connecticut to NYC in the summer of 1997, and to Allison Felus for digitizing the original soundboard cassette in summer 2023.

All songs written and arranged by The Confessors at our rehearsal room nicknamed The Space on the second floor of a wire-making factory at Warehouse Point in Windsor Locks, CT. The Space is now a bald eagle sanctuary on the Connecticut River.
